So you render the video and audio separately?  Does this make the quality on both better than if you render them together?

Well, MeGUI has two separate inputs for encoding, so rendering them together won't work (it might actually, but it's no more effort for separate renders).

Software I use:

Lawena recording tool to record
Virtual dub to convert the pictures from lawena into avi's
Sony vegas for video editing
Pldx h64 encoding gui for encoding the final uncompressed avi from vegas into mp4

The process is really simple tbh, unless you want to actually edit your videos. Then you gotta learn shit.

Open lawena.
Change to desired settings (don't even need to change any).
Click Start tf2 on lawena.
Open demo.
Press record hotkey.

It's p. Try look in the config, maybe it's different.

If its P and pressing P doesnt work, try redownloading lawena. I had the same problem once and that helped me.
