As thread title implies, what is your favorite jumpmap (or jump)?
(and if possible, also a bit of why)

for me, i'm still in love with speed2, just for the nostalgic factor,
but the map i most like to play would be jump_ABuQ, because the jumps can be done in so many ways
(though in that idea littleman is close up, but i don't really like littlemans jumps themselves.. so)

  • jump_ice, just  because I worked so hard to be able to beat that map 100%.
  • jump_speed2 just has always been a favorite of mine.
  • Any jump that will allow freedom of how to do it. Hate ones that are strictly made to be done 1 way. What will I do when I get bored?
I have a few more, but you did say favorite, but I can never choose 1. Hence why my music interest's is so broad.

soar_a4 is out!
Used to be jump_twist untill raiin destoryed it with his flawless run making my ambition of getting under 3 minutes look pathetic :(. My favorites tends to change a lot but I suppose right now it would have to be between:

- jump_cheval (I'm going to pretend I don't see raiin or wonder's times).
- jump_rook
- jump_facility

I'm a fan of both quba and abuq, not sure why there's so much hate for those two. Also a fan of jump_adventure, just because it's by far the map with the best range of difficulty, starting with complete noob and ending with intermediate with a good difficulty ramp.

Twist is awesome as well, just because of the jumps where you have to bounce rockets off of pads... are there any other maps that have even tried to do that?

if i had to pick one,
jump_hobo2

was pagoda for a long time (kinda sick of it)
I like those 2 better than other maps cause of the atmosphere and I can just chill, its fun after I finish the map.

usually I like playing demo maps as soldier more than soldier maps cause its not so confined, you have to figure out/invent how to do the jumps instead of do this, exactly like this, and land here.

If i had to pick 1...jump_style

for some reason i just cant get enough of it, maybe its just because its lexers map?
the constant struggle to get less than 4 mins is just great, might try for a flawless soon  :)

Pretty much any map that I can beat :P
But all-time favorite: Cheval
Also have a lot of fun on Ayers2 now that I can beat it.

Favourite jump maps are prolly jump_twist and jump_joa. Favourite jump is j1 on course 3 in jump_quba, awesome feel to it, just strafing around!

There's so many good maps to choose from that it's hard to pick a favourite. I always have fun playing jump_aridia/jump_rook though. My favourite jumps are pretty much anything that includes ramps and something else creative (I'd love to see a jump combining a ramp and ceiling jump made).

My favs are:
-Jump_nbn cuz somelvls (pro curse) are just awsome and hard
-Jump_gman perfect ideas for jumps without standards like pogo,wallpogo
And all demo maps! =3
