What?
Even though I'm disappointed that the server is leaving, I want to say thank you to Klare and the entire community. It has been a fun time. Unfortunately I'm not a jumper, so I will probably never see any of you again.

Still, thanks for the good times.

Thanks for the thanks Cryo - I locked that post more because I didn't want negative comments  :-[ You all know I tried to keep that place goin as long as I could... but it just wasn't getting any better. I am going to be trying out a no crits/spread pub server to see how that goes because its a server I will actually play on (and I will play a LOT) so if you want to come shoot some faces please come visit us!!!

so this is the official "bye surfit" thread, eh?
Yea ive always sucked at surfing, but most of the people on surfit are cool, even if they hate jumpers.
Would like to play with some surfers, so please stick around for the pub server, lets hope that gets populated.

A little friendly rivalry. Two different yet alike mods hosted by the same people sharing the same IRC chat. There had to be some rivalry there. I liked a lot of you guys anyway.

Good luck with the pub server, I'm sure it will be very active. I haven't played a pub in over a year in TF2 and I don't really want to start again with the new free players. Also my next semester in college is coming up, so I wouldn't have the time to play anyway.

Also with BBall it - ROK plays there... and this may come as a surprise but servers that none of the owners play on go down before servers that we do play on.

Surf iT was automatically disabled at midnight last night. Not gonna lie it is sad not seeing it in my NFO panel =( A couple people have back-ups of the server though in case she ever is revived.

Again a huge thank you to the surf community for taking a chance on a bunch of jumpers. And an even bigger thanks to Kelao - he didnt know me or this community at all when the server was created... and transformed it into the Surf iT we all knew and loved. It was so awesome to bridge the surf/jump gap (as little or as much as we did) and I really hope all the amazing people that I met will stick around in one way or another.

I know it seems like Pub iT kind of replaced Surf iT, and a lot of people do not like pubbing. As of right now I can almost say for certain it is not going to remain a pub server... so whatever tf2 offshoot it turns into hopefully the surfers will come around!

It's sad to see the server gone, but it was fun while it lasted. I hope you bring it up again in the future when you're ready to.

I'll probably be on jumpit a lot more now that surfit's gone, I'm trying to get into jumping and I might start surfing on CS:S.
