Jump Help / Help with settings ( Server & Map )

Hey guys, I just work on a map and I really want to have it goooood

1.) How can I build something in my map that avoids players from getting damage dealed by rockets ? ( in Q3radiant i had a nodamage texture )

2.) A friend created a nice texture for a sign i want to use, i've put it into mytextures in materials folder and attached it to a normal brush. For me it works fine, but if i send someone the mapfile, he just see these purple black Pixels. How can i fix that ?

Would be nice to get some tipps here
