Since when are spin binds frowned upon? I thought it was universally known that everyone uses them.

I have +left bound to q and +right bound to e. Very easy to use since they're next to the movement keys and I spam the shit out of my mouse keys while surfing.

You'll need to contact Panzer for most of that info. I know that bonuses were working but I don't know if the stage timers have finished yet. They were still buggy last time I saw them.

Okay so everyone knows that advertising trading in the servers is in automatic permaban and Derpus goes to their house to make fun of them, but what of those people that advertise trading offers in their name?

If my name is "Cryo -Selling Keys-" and I talk like hell in the chat, should I be banned for trading? Or is that a non-issue? Just want to get some other opinions on it. I personally think they should be killed on the spot and their family possessions stolen but that's me.

Also Wolsk asked about trade offers in JumpIT and JuJumpIT for Sticky Jumper/Rocket Jumper/Original/etc. Should those people be banned for wanting to trade for an item that is related to server?

I guess you were using 100? 150 is all you need to surf. Default gravity and everything else.

A little friendly rivalry. Two different yet alike mods hosted by the same people sharing the same IRC chat. There had to be some rivalry there. I liked a lot of you guys anyway.

Good luck with the pub server, I'm sure it will be very active. I haven't played a pub in over a year in TF2 and I don't really want to start again with the new free players. Also my next semester in college is coming up, so I wouldn't have the time to play anyway.

Even though I'm disappointed that the server is leaving, I want to say thank you to Klare and the entire community. It has been a fun time. Unfortunately I'm not a jumper, so I will probably never see any of you again.

some of the plugins from the css ksf surf servers would be pretty amazing for both the jump server and surf server imo.

things like the world record check point part of the timer. this tracks how fast you beat a stage, so you can see how efficiently you're doing the stage compared to others. the map keeps record of your rank for that stage, so it adds a little bit more of a timed/competition aspect without requiring as much perfection as far beating an entire map without failing.

a stage teleport plugin would be really nice too. this allows someone to teleport to any stage on the map to practice it or whatever. obviously you cannot use this while doing a timed run, or rather, it'll cancel your timed run if you use it. but for people that get stuck on one stage forever and would just like to try the next one, this would probably be a great function. additionally it makes practicing a stage you have trouble with a lot nicer for pro players trying to do speed runs.

i'm not sure how much effort these would take to make as i know practically nothing about mods, but they would be great additions to the servers. maybe Panzer is already working on something like this as i've heard he's working on a timer mod (and he's very familiar with ksf servers) - wishful thinking! 

Everything you mentioned is done, just being improved.

Stuff happens. Especially around this time, a lot of the regulars have things to do. Also, Panzer has put a lot of work into the new timer system, so when that's finished, SurfIT will have something that is brand new to surfing in TF2.

But I think the server should have both DM maps and skill surf

I would personally leave and never come back if that happens. There are plenty of DM servers and many new servers being created.

I just hate paying for a server that is absolutely dead 75% of the day

*cough*Bball*cough*. I don't care if it was $8 and you saved 2 dollars by not having an STV on JumpIT, but with MGEit, BBall just doesn't seem too appealing.

Like Diddy said, this happens to servers a lot. I won't tell you how to run your servers and if you want to remove it it's your choice, however you'll lose a part of the community, and many people, like me, will move on to other places and forget this.

I feel obligated to post here even though I'm a surfer, not a jumper.

1 in game sensitivity on 900 DPI. 16 inch 360. Can't stand high sensitivities. I use this for everything, even when I do jump.
