Couldn't think of something clever to put
I'll make it short. Let's make a hard jump map where people create a 1 or more jumps and put it all together. Just like Jump_collab.

If you want to help contribute, add me on steam. I'm going to use this as a learning experience to help me get better at mapping.



Info about the map

Soldier map ofc

Make the jump HARD. Nothing simple like a wall to wall. Try to be creative, Quint to Quint or something like that. Just remember, HARD. Nothing retarded.

I don't care what textures you use, just don't make it in the shape of a penis or anything. (or you can if it's a good jump)

I kinda prefer random styles, but I'll if people actually are up for this.

Just hard enough to make people want to attempt it over an over, something cool or fun I guess, not near impossible.

You need to set a deadline of submissions (if ppl are interested enough), and preferablely a estimated release otherwise this shit will just drag out forever like the other ones have

i'd be willing to make a jump or two.

some questions:

do we want a unified theme?
demo/solly? im assuming solly given your words (quint to quint)

there are lots of interesting ideas we could still elaborate on, but people will shout "gimmicky" at anything that isn't conventional. non-conventional jumps are like what we need imo but they need to not be frustrating but fun instead. a map like jump_junk is cool but some of the jumps feel broken and we want jumps that are well tested and thought out.

also yeah a deadline is good because it motivates people to actually do shit instead of saying they will and then not doing shit.

also please use the grid to align your shit

hmm you need to include the other settings like the pitch/yaw/roll. Prolly easiest to just upload a vmf of the light env and other things we may need.
