I still think both of them are too hard for week 2, especially your map stimpack.

Completely agree, but it's hard to plan out the difficult of a map weeks in advance, especially when the mappers didn't know who else was making a map.

Might be worth noting for anyone running a Highframes/Maxframes config that you need to set r_3dsky to 1 in your autoexec.cfg in order to see the final timer for jump_void.  The map looks better that way too.

Void is quite the jump in difficulty. 

I'd say it's slightly more difficult than annex v2 blue side.

Yea I was told to aim for jump_sexydev difficulty on this thread:

So it's aimed to be just slightly more difficult than annex blue. Always going to be an issue with massive differences in skill, and spreading a 6 week comp to cover the curve equally, when in reality majority of jumpers would be in the week 1->2 area.

If it really is an issue, i could release a b2 made to be easier, but I think that will just make the week 2->3 gap worse. I also haven't seen or played week 3 map, so no idea how it compares.

imo the difficulty is fine, as long as the stages aren't getting more difficult by the same relative amount.

it's not a difficult map, but i wasn't expecting this in week2

defenatly harder than jump_tissue, if you know what i mean

I was going to keep this strategy secret but I'm an idiot...

I also wasn't going to put this video up until the exact second stage 2 ended just to be a dick...

Anyway here's an easier way to do jump 19 on void.

Better to get the synch in the transition of course.  But yeah, somehow that jump is one of the most annoying in the map if you miss it the first time.

And it was completely on purpose (accident). I can get this anytime I want now (never again in my life). I am the best (lucky).

If you miss syncing, a good ctap makes the jump a lot easier.  I usually get it on the first or second try.
