So after a hectic night of trying to figure out what valve broke. I got the server semi running, and then got MM/SM working again, and by I got it working I mean I downloaded updates made by the MM/SM team, and uploaded them, but you know downloading, extracting, and uploading is a lot of work, and yes this is a run on sentence, but you know what? Fuck you valve higher real programmers.
